Occupy Springfield, MO - This is What Democracy Looks Like !

The Occupy Wall Street movement has come to Springfield, Missouri, the "Queen City of the Ozarks" Demonstrators marched from Park Central Square to "The Kitchen" on Commercial Street to drop off donations for Springfield's homeless and needy. From Commercial Street, the demonstrators went to Washington Park for the
General Assembly Meeting to plan for the "camp-in" at a location yet to be
decided. I had no idea where Washington Park was, nor did the first five
or six people I asked. Finally, a Greene County Deputy Sheriff, who
at first, didn't know either, looked it up on his iPhone and I found it. Video of
the General Assembly meeting to follow. This IS what democracy looks like!
