Musikalisch klingt es wie Katze auf den Schwanz gestiegen, da gibt es Besseres - Beach Boys, Star Trek und Black Country Communion sind Beispiele. Von letzterem habe ich Dir eine Videoantwort geschickt, aus dem Auftritt in Hamburg. Da ist am Ende ein thereminsolo. Die Aufnahme war im BCC-Contest, aber der ist ja nun rum, deshalb kann ich sie nun hier linken.
Ich finde dann aber gut, wie er das ganze erklärt - zuvor wunderte ich mich, was er mit der rechten (seiner linken) Hand eigentlich tut...

This passive bug story is fantastic. It was elegant and passive. Powered by not-so-stray, microwaves passing through the building. It simply used room audio to modulate a resonant cavity attached to an RF tuned antenna. The effect was that the reflected microwaves would 'beat' against the incoming microwaves, in proportion to the room acoustic. All that was necessary was to point a hi-gain antenna at the thing. Subsequent bugs were in the very concrete of the buildings!
