One silly question from real beginner , should I use float with drop fishing rig or just the rig as u shown us without a float on the surface , thanks

@MikesPowerAus Use it on the bottom, the weight will make the rig sink and the worm will suspend off the bottom.

when your tieing the hook on the line thats on the pole already how far would you say double it over or how far back like

@arkansasfisherman for the slack line? i get about 6-8 inches up the line then tie the palomar know i dont cut it off until i put it through the top of the hooks then i trim it to where i want the weight sorry if this answer that you were lookin for kindof a confusing question lol

This has got potential i think, Ive not seen this fished over here in the uk, But im going to give it a go for pollack / bass fishing off my kayak. Im going to fish it slightly differently than you as i cant get the same type of weights over here, i would have to import them, So im going to use what we call a "rotten bottom" link, which is a piece of mono that is 5-10lb test so if the lead does get stuck then i can pull out as by braid is around 30lb test. Thanks for posting

I get your question. All you neede to do is tie like 2 extra feet of what you would call a "tag" end then tie your Sinker on accordingly so that you can be sure to have enough space. Hope this is the answer you were looking for!
