  • the only problem in the Cyrrus is the yoke Airbus Style...

  • @ricknaguitar

Yes, I too, am a Boeing fan and found the side yoke philosophy of Airbus to be "unconventional". But now that I've spent thousands of hours flying and teaching in the Cirrus, I can honestly say I'm a convert and that the side yoke is not only very simple, but very intuative as well!

  • you have a high 6th cylinder head temperature

  • Good eye. Yes, the CHT on cyl #6 (scales on the right) was slightly higher than the rest. You may also notice that the #6 EGT (scales on the left) was also showing higher than the others. This was a result of us playing with the "Lean Assist" function at the time I shot the video. Note the "Looking for 1st Peak" just above the scales which appears while leaning the mixture.

  • why does it ave the g1000 and gps it should all be in the g1000 shouldnt it

    like the diamond star

  • What you're seeing are the Avidyne Entegra PFD and MFD, not the Garmin G1000. The Cirrus aircraft equipped with the Avidyne suite of avionics have the dual Garmin GNS430 units. The newest Cirrus models (aka Cirrus Perspecitive) come with the GIFD (Garmin Integrated Flight Deck) G1000 displays.

  • This is my dream plane

  • nothing better than watching a sunset in the sky

  • @esattt Can you point the rest of us to this? Really interesting!

  • Small general airplanes have become "big" the last few years. Introducing modern electronic and data equipments earlier only used in jetliners have put little brother up a couple of steps. I saw om a site that you know also could get HUD for small GA Off course it cost money but with the development off this units the last years I presume that private aviation will grow rapidly. You know us boys and new "toys" ,o)

  • nearsighted can fly a plane?that's great!!!!

  • very very cool!

  • It is such a beautiful plane. There is one at my FBO, I am looking into it for my high performance, but it is so expensive!
