Compared to SquareSoft's games like... I don't know Chrono Cross, or FF7 to 9 it did kinda sucked. The plot, the dragons, the voices, music, fact that one could deal more damage narmally, than in Dragoon form, which from definition should be more powerfull . It all sucked. The only saving grace was the adition thingy.
Still the game was playable.

I've never been terribly interested in a sequel. Maybe a prequel to go through the dragon campaign though. So many interesting characters only vaguely introduced.

omg lol. this was so much more amazing as a kid. now i'm watching it over 5 years later and it's terrible! (: wow. i still love it though. best game i ever did play. love the characters, storyline and gameplay. i always thought it would be better if during battle you were allowed to choose what addition you could use. instead of always hearing VOLCANO or BURNING RUSHHH once and again haha change it up, you know? definitely no sequel please. a remake would be nice. anyways, gave me a good laugh.

@sheva2590 Maybe I'm in the minority here but I think that a sequel would just cheapen it. I don't know why I feel that way. Just a gut feeling I guess.
