A New York City plastic surgeon is the new world record holder in the quintessential arcade game Donkey Kong.
In this special video report, MedPage Todays Todd Neale talks with Dr. Hank Chien about what it took to win the title, why he went for it, and the correlation between the game and his surgical skills.
He also has two majors from Harvard: Mathematics and Computer science. While hand-eye coordination is good...knowing the logic behind AI and video-game algorithms would be more helpful for competing at top level competition.
Agter all, studies show that pro Quake players have the hand eye coordination of 20+ year Air Force dogfighters...but their health matches that of something much, much worse.

He's a surgeon...they don't sleep.
