Lucknow glittering blue

This caption-video taken late evening of March 14, 2010 shows the Indian capital city Lucknow in all its glittering glory, with all major traffic crossings decked up in blue lights at night. The occasion is the 25th year silver jubilee celebrations of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). BSP president and chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati celebrated the occasion by getting the city decorated in blue lights - the preferred party colour. The event was also important for the chief minister to showcase the beauty of the city to her lakhs of party supporters who came to Lucknow on March 15 to attend BSP's maharally at Ramabai Ambedkar Rally ground in Aashiana area.
