  • Like watching Billy Woodentop, not the dynamic band I saw live. This doesn't do them justice.

  • @1969sharpSkinhead Love the German language - I get "long live the mods" but I have no idea of the first line. I'm guessing "that drum lead really hammers" - but it kud be "the hills are alive with the sound of kettledrums". Anyway , hi from Ireland - Germany rocks !!!

  • Great upload VBA - thanks - the beat club stuff is always terrific. But it's such a pity Keith gets so little exposure here - after all it's a percussion dominated track - I cannot remember any 60s track where the drumming was more vital - Moon was blindingly brilliant always but especially here.

  • Reminds me of that Hummer commercial. LOL.

  • Classic!!!

  • Keith Moon ..Drummer 23 August 1946 – 7 September 1978 RIP ..one of the great drummers..there is no point comparing great with great..its a useless exercise...i grew up with just the tinny sound from a cheap transistor radio and i am so pleased we have youtube and can see these people in action!!

  • das lied ist einfach nur hammergeil!

    lang leben die mods!

    :)

  • 1:14 is soo epic :D

and watch entwistles fingers it's amazing!

  • Trommler...heisst das nicht Schlagzeuger ? *g*...geiler Song...
