Lightning filmed in Slow Motion with a Casio EX-F1 at 300fps. Same bolt at regular playback speed then slowed down 3 times.

  • wait, is the camera upside down, the lightning is coming out of the freaking floor, not sky?

  • It was cloud-to-cloud lightening, it wasn't coming up from the ground...

  • It's slowed down 10 times, not 3.

    But, yeah.

  • I meant in the video editor I slowed it down 3 times at the end..and yes 300fps is 10 times slower.

  • wavelength1970. This is great!

Did you have the camera on standby or just capture it right?

  • There was a lot of lightning in one spot, so I put the camera on a tripod and let it run pointing at that spot.
