@stimulantguy projects which have absolutely nothing to do with icthyosis and have nothing to do with myths...there's a real human there who has many other talents than just being defined by syndrome
-
@cherep333 my argument is that human dna replication is such a fragile process that their is no need for alien intervention to cause such deformities, the mistakes that happen are natural however unfortunate. And while I cannot rule out with absolute certainty the possibility of alien influence, alien altered babies are such an astronomically large improbability it borders on insanity to even consider it. Just like getting hit by a meteor is so improbably that you don't worry about it daily.

@DaringGirlProduction i hope the goal of your projects would be to explain these myths in rational scientific terms, as opposed to the childish "see! see! fauns are real! see!" ... and purely out of interest, what kinds of projects did you have in mind?
-
@stimulantguy I don't believe in the wolfman, mummies, goblins, and rush limbaugh.
-
@stimulantguy maybe these kinds of conditions explains the myths about fauns and stuff. I'm now facebook friends with one of the women who has this condition and I hope to work w/her on projects as soon as possible
-
@DaringGirlProduction they have the hooves because this condition results in high levels of keratin inside the skin cells. Keratin is the protein that makes your nails hard and thus explains the hoof like malformation of the hands and feet. Ichthyosis and other birth defects like it have been around since people started having babies, they are unfortunate deviations from normal human development and it wasn't until modern medicine did we begin to understand this.

@DaringGirlProduction birth defects of this nature have been around since time began, it is only now through modern medicine that we are beginning to understand that they are unfortunate deviations from normal human development. And please don't listen to cherep333, he seems to be either very misinformed or mildly developmentally challenged himself.
" " Did I say it's an alien baby? NO. I tried to say if this some sort of DNA defect It's does't mean this is not alien baby. That's not prove this is a human baby or alien baby or any who baby.
You're can't prove that was more than 25 000 accidents.

@cherep333 apparently we have had a communication then. Correct me if I'm wrong, you are stating that this is a human with a DNA defect. You are also stating that a DNA defect is not necessarily proof that this is not an alien influenced DNA defect. Is this your opinion? You also seem to be indicating that with the multitude of incidents, this cannot be through random occurrence? Am i correct in my assertion? I also understand that they're is a possible language barrier - my apologies
