Kathak - Saswati Sen's Summer School

An exemplary disciple of Pandit Birju Maharaj, Sawasti Sen is one of the greatest Kathak dancers of our time. She was initially trained by Reba Vidyarthi at Kathak Kendra, Delhi, and now serves the institution as the lead dancer of its repertory. Here, in the UK, the Bhavan's Summer School advanced Kathak students perform a piece choreographed by the critically acclaimed dancer. I particularly like the splitting into duets which was quite visually pleasing.
