@pearse76 Too bad the damn evil card check law ALLOWS YOU TO CHOOSE A SECRET BALLOT IF YOU WANT ONE.Unless you think there's "coercion" in things such as petition signings and public polls your assertion is laughable sir,absolutely laughable.And if there really was such unequal bargaining/voting power in favor of Labor(when it's fucking scientifically proven its the other way round) then WHY DONT MORE UNIONS HARASS PEOPLE ENOUGH TO WIN THE SECRET BALLOT?!?!?.

@Christian121y And no one ever signed something without reading it right? Or maybe get some fine union pressure "What's wrong with you? How come you won't sign? Everyone else did." That would NEVER happen, right? The secret ballot is to allow for a cooling off period so that employees can consider whether or not they really want that union. If they still want it, then they will get it. And if you think that unions aren't out there scamming employees and their members, then I pity you.

@pearse76 If you sign a consent card wanting a union election,I think IT IS OBVIOUS YOU WANT A UNION IN THE WORKPLACE.Any bullshit about a "secret" ballot after the fact is just that.Add in the 45 OR 90 WAITING PERIOD and I think it is OBVIOUS what's going on here.If you fail to see it,then I pity you.
