Pro users dont need these things. they build their website, dont buy/ use templates. And they use adobe dreamweaver.

@lighterinthestorm I'm not a pro and don't mind admitting it. And neither are a lot of people who subscribe to my channel so some appreciate these kinds of things. I use Dreamweaver too, just not for my blog. Only my static site. Love it!

How can you stand Word Press with that dreadful jumping text? I have a weekly podcast (have done now more than 60) and WP is dreadful! How do you stand it? I know---tech folks have the tricks. But do a video please on how to stabilize that awful moving text/cursor. So far after a year---I hate WP and have no idea why you like it so much!

Hi Lisa and so many thanks for this video you have spent time on. It is a breath of fresh air to see you explaining in a step by step process, how these actions are carried out.

I myself teach complete beginners, how to create a website from scratch and using a ton of FREE tools. So I really appreciate finding someone that uses the same step by step process.

@lighterinthestorm Tools like firebug exist because some people will never get to your level. That's the beauty of the Internet. There will always be a place for programmers like you AND tools like Firebug. Yay. :) I think most of us realize the limitations, (I do) but at the end of the day, I enjoy marketing way more than programming so I'm proud with the programming progress I've made over the years. :)

@lighterinthestorm Totally agree that you are def limited with programming if you don't have the fundamental knowledge. Fortunately though the "shortcut tools" allow people to remain productive. I doubt I'll ever be where you are technically and I'm OK with that. No desire. Just like some programmers will never be good marketers. Some have no desire. But I do code a lot of my CSS from scratch because I've learned a lot. I don't use Firebug much but I know my audience may appreciate. Thanks.

@skili76 please dont get me wrong. i respect you for your work you do. For the space you work on. This is where your talent comes up. Your creativity. And it is nice. Especially when i see original websites with cool ideas. You mentioned the final result. That s where my point is. If you learn it you wont need any firebugs and you will achieve better results. It s like not only playing with LEGO bricks but making them as well. In that way you can make whatever you want with no limits.

There are people out here like you who love programming but there are many of us who don't and do just fine. Why do you have to take the time to call us out. If we're both doing well and getting the job done who cares how you get there? Typical programmer attitude. (I'm smarter than you cause I know PHP!) whatever.

@lighterinthestorm You're missing the point. Lisa makes 6 figures not me. So she makes more than you and doesn't know PHP. That's my point. I only make a few hundred per month. So my point is you don't have to learn to build a PHP engine to have success. If you can, that's a bonus! But I don't care to learn that stuff. But my sites are still making money and I use a lot of the templates and shortcuts and that's fine with me. Why is it so important for your ego to tell everyone you're a pro?

@skili76 if i made 6 figs online i wouldnt be so chatty. Ever wondered why companies hire programmers or buy unique templates instead of downloading a free one or using this freeware? The way how you start is going to cover how you end. That is what being pro. Personally, ive seen many blogs using unique standard (no matter they are self made or bought) and that what makes them unique. People like you (no progr) dont know how effort it takes to make an at least decent template with a php engine.
