@TheRoomy it was the person that decided the original pilot, titled 'serenity', showed a mal that was too dark that ruined the shows' future, making joss to write another pilot that became 'the train job'. this was the one they showed, which didn't have the intensity to draw you in that the original had, so not enough people watched after the pilot, leading the show to be cancelled. chances are that, if they aired the original pilot at the beginning, the show may never have been cancelled

@Rycr Serenity is the name of the ship. Serenity is the name of the movie. There's a 50/50 chance that it could go either way. I'm sorry that not all of us see things the same way you do, but that's life.

@hawk222 Look at the title of the video. SERENITY CON. Obviously it has something to do with the movie. Frankly, I'm surprised there weren't more spoilers in the video itself.

@Rycr Really? You think a video with two of the stars of a show relates to the movie, despite not having anything to do (directly) with the movie itself? Wow.
Not all of us have all the time in the world to watch these; some of us have jobs. Not only that, but I'm trying my best to wait to watch it with my girlfriend, preferably without any spoilers.

@hawk222 If you still haven't seen a movie six years after it came out, you should not watch youtube videos that might relate to the movie if you still care about spoilers. In fact, you should watch the movie instead.
