@D3ad1yNit3Mar328 it made pretty much half my face weaker than the other. i can't wink with my left eye, i can't raise my left eyebrow, i can't completely close my left eye when I blink, and the left side of my jaw is smaller than the right.

I was born with 'cup ears'. Both of my ears are disformed, but it didn't effect my hearing. I got an operation when I was little but it went wrong, and it looks kinda weider then it already was. I'm 16 now and I want to get it fixed, but I'm scared because of all the trouble I went through when I was little. It bothers me when people see it and start asking questions about my 'weird' or 'creepy' ears. But I can cover it up with my hair :) Does anyone have experience with operations like this?

Please research little baby face foundation. They help fund the surgery for people with microtia. God bless

I have it to and it also affected my jaw so I really can't smile well but I'm getting surgery in July and I'm only 13 and I think this is my 4th or 5th surgery its kind of hard when everyone stares at you and I have never seen a girl with it :(

It is funny that only people with microtia have been commenting. I have it on the left side, but had half of the surgeries to get it fixed wen i was 7 ( i am 17 now), then my mother was layed off and the insurance would not cover the other half. Oh and if microtia wasnt bad enough I have a rare form of cancer too! Giant cell tumors in my lungs and right knee! My friends, family, and God keep me going strong!
