  • As suggested, They are called "dandelion fountains" like most modern fountains the water is "recycled" so no, they do not waste water.

    They do however require big pumps to operate though.

  • My dad used to work in the building right across the street from that. Hobos and a bunch of weird people would swim in it...

  • There are some of these made by artists, and some sold by commercial fountain companies, the latter usually called Dandelions. PEM of Canada sells them, as does Hall Fountains.
