The Saiga-12 IZSL-433A is a 030-type semi-automatic shotgun professionally converted by experts. Featuring American-made parts, like pistol grip, buttstock, trigger group, and birdcage flash hider it exhibits a more tactical design if compared with the standard IZ-433 Saiga 12. The combination of American parts used in this gun makes it fully 922R compliant. The shotgun is also equipped with a magazine guide (magwell) and an automatic last round bolt hold open device in order to help facilitate easy reloads and insertion of the magazine. The top cover features a Picatinny rail on top allowing various optical devices to be attached to aid in sighting. The top cover is also hinged to the rear sight block in order to provide the top-mounted Picatinny rail with the ability to hold zero. An adjustable rear notched sight and front sight post are also standard on the shotgun to assist in accurate firing when no optical device is affixed.

Saiga 12 shotguns were designed by the world-renown Russian engineer Mikhail Kalashnikov, who was the mastermind behind the creation of legendary AK-47. These shotguns are developed on the base of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. Therefore, Saiga 12 inherited the best qualities of the world's most popular firearm. Made with a minimal amount of parts and simple operating procedures the design tries its best to keep to the basics in order to provide an easy to use, highly reliable shooting platform. Saiga-12 is designed for high reliability in harsh environments. The magazines can be filled with a mixture of 2 ¾" and 3" shells allowing for a variety of ammunition to be used. This shotgun is designed for professional and sport hunting and small and medium-sized game under various climactic conditions. The removable magazine allows for quick reloads in situations when it's required, like competitive shooting or a crisis situation. Saiga-12 is therefore great for tactical and home defense. All Saiga-12 shotguns have a threaded barrel so you can add various chokes or muzzle brakes.

  • how do they cycle with low power loads?

are these just as fast as iz109s?

  • How long is the barrel? I really want one!

  • Ditch the mag-well and cut the barrel down a bit ;)

  • @ElTerrible666 As far as I can tell, it's the real deal (minus the folding stock). The main problem that I can see is that it won't accept standard Saiga 12 magazines. I don't know about California, but I'd ask the guys over at Atlantic to see if they can do something.

  • I gotta get me one to go with my Saiga 12. Is it a true version 030? Can it be made to be CA legal?
