The F-22 doing Pugachev's Cobra.
The maneuver consists of the pilot pulling the aircraft to a 90°--120° angle of attack, then back down to zero. In a properly performed Pugachev's Cobra, the plane maintains a straight and level flight throughout the maneuver.

  • @F22raptor46 /watch?v=rt3neRLquDI

  • This is not a cobra.

  • @F22raptor46 i dont have one, I was taking a tour and they were out flying, but it wasnt really a cobra, he cut his engine and his plane was almost straight up, and pushed the nose back down while he punched the engine. now it wasn't done like the f-22 or a plane with thrust vectoring, it took a lot more space and he did lose some altitude

  • su 27 pugachev's is better

  • Too slow...

  • @MrFATasYOURmom But the F-16 cant do a cobra. Plz send me a video of it.

  • @F22raptor46 yeah, I agree. And just to make sure i got the definition right, I did see an F-16 do a Cobra at Buckly AFB, but it did lose a few hundred feet of altitude, so it's not a "true" cobra, correct?

  • @MrFATasYOURmom Right, it can do a Kulbit more accurately than an Su-37.

  • This is the first video I have seen where the F-22 actually does a cobra.

  • didnt you see it USAFThunderbirdsFtw ite perfect and the altitude is just right to perform that sick manouver
