In response to a measles epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Katanga Province, MSF teams have initiated a vaccination campaign in partnership with the Ministry of Health that aims to vaccinate 1.2 million children in less than a month.
I think MSF does great work. I know you do. My problem with these communiqués is that there isn't much info from MSF about the actual political/militaristic situation there. Millions immunized is great, but can't MSF 'gently encourage' the Congolese government to be 'healthier' in other ways? (Like not 'allowing' mass-rapes.) I repeat, I think MSF does great work, but it's bordering on futile if all you're allowed to do is bandaids.
Bravo for all the wonderful work you do across the world.

Amazing work MSF! One million to vaccinate in one month would be an incredible achievement. Good luck with this vital task.
