Catching Channel Catfish on dough bait

Me and Christian fishing at a stocked catfish pond near my house in Lynchburg, Va. We didn't catch the monsters we were hoping for but still had fun anyways.

so is the dough bait a good buy??? how much is it exactly??

@hondaguy529 the dough bait is good but not the best. It is about 3 something at walmart. Normally when it comes to catching catfish the stinkier the better. Cheese and blood baits work great. But nothing tops cut bait and chicken liver!

where did you guys get the bait? i cant find it anywhere!

@Allaroundstuff Have you tried walmart? They have a fishing section there with a little area with catfish bait, hooks, etc.. Let me know how it works!

I dont think ive caughten a catfish before. Many bullheads though

@Jedhaase there are a few different kinds of bullhead, yellow, brown, black, spotted and snail. they are all in the catfish family which includes everything from channel cats, to blue cats, to wels and flatheads

@Allaroundstuff there a little different. they are brown and catfish are black gray and white. also they get bigger than bull heads.
