  • Hows your F2 going these days!?! Still have it? If so hows it look and run?

  • @MrDakiota I'm ashamed to answer your question honestly. I haven't been working on it at all. Money is tight and i'm now married with an infant living on one income. I haven't given serious thought about abandoning the project, but I also haven't spent any time working on it, even little things that require little or no money to accomplish. I'm not desperate to sell it. I have no figured out what I am going to do about the bodywork and swingarm mod. I have decided that I need to ditch the veypor

  • @fwbrc51 digital gauge and buy a KOSO brand gauge instead. I'm no sure what model though. Believe me I just don't set aside time to finish the up. start talking smack now. i deserve it.

  • whats going on nowadays? any update?

  • no updates really. i bought some cheap bodywork from china and returned it. buyer beware. it was complete junk. had some other money stuff come up and don't want to swipe the cards right now.

  • Wow it's great to see you're doing such a thorough job restoring this bike. Good luck!

  • the only thing i've skipped on is the swingarm pivot bearings that are on the swingarm that's on the bike now. i'm holding out to see how it rolls. if it rolls okay, then i will keep them. if not, then i will see the progress of the single sided swingarm and mount it instead. i will probably run the stock swingarm with new bearings till the new chain and sprockets wear out, then switch over to a hawk gt swingarm conversion with the 91 vfr rear rim.

  • @fwbrc51 Howbout this. I'll send you a vid when my F2 is finished. Not going as balls out as you (more cosmetics) but got a integrated led tail light, underglow(I was bored :P) contemplating a new paint job new cam chain tensioner, possibly clutch, and little stuff like bar ends and such. Plus I already had a bunch done to everything mechanical.

  • @fwbrc51 That really sucks to hear! Best luck and wishes go out to you man. Hopefully you guys pull through your troubles! KEEP ON TRUCKIN AND DON'T GIVE UP ON ANYTHING!!!

  • thanks you. i will keep videos coming as progress is made. i hope to complete this by the end of next summer and inspected. it's a salvage rebuild. florida granted me a salvage rebuildable title, so after i'm complete with the build i'll have it inspected so i can be granted permission to register it and ride the hell out of it.....untill i buy my st1300 to commute to work +/- 50 miles round trip daily.
