Minneapolis Police Accused of Cover Up in The Shooting Death of Unarmed Teen

MINNEAPOLIS - On July 22, 2006, Lee died at the hands of Minneapolis police.

Lee was running from police in north Minneapolis. City View Elementary
surveillance camera caught some of the chase.

In the video, Lee is running away from police without a gun. A few seconds later,
Lee is dead. Police say, Lee pointed a gun at the officer, and the cop had no choice
but to shoot. Lee was shot multiple times.

The family of a 19-year-old man who died in an officer-involved shooting in 2006 is raising
questions about evidence in the case. They accuse police of covering up evidence,
especially in what they claim to be a mystery gun.

The family of Fong Lee has maintained from the start that he never had a gun during the incident.

So if your black, Mexican, and Asian; if you see a cop, you better be aware because if a cop feel your posting a threat, they can shoot you just like they did to FONG LEE even if YOU DONT HAVE A GUN. ...on Fong Lee. I heard people saying that Fong Lee is a so call "gangster", "thug" because of how he dress in the video, but that is just stereotype. Look at the fact people. The MPD don't want to lose face in front of the people of MPLS. Fong Lee was brutally shot in the back PEROID, no gun on him, no DNA, Officer's claim is false, and the gun was use in a robbery that the two black male had no connection with Fong Lee or the people that was riding with Fong.

Adding more, there could never had been possible for Fong to have the gun at all if it was in the possesson of the Officer(s), the exact same gun that was use on the Robbery by the two male. If they had brought in the two men who was in the robbery to testify if that was the gun that they used then the gun couldn't have been in Fong Lee's pocession. It is clearly a cover up. Then the Officer's claim is just BS, and they knew the will be in trouble if they didn't come up with something to plant..

To this day I been following this story of Fong Lee. Hearing what I heard from news, they claim that the gun is giving to Fong Lee from the group that was with him. If so, then there would be trace of DNA of the person who gave him the gun, and Fong Lee but there is no DNA at all. Video of Fong Lee running has no view of him holding a gun. The gun has been stolen but never lock up for evidence in a robbery, which was in the possesson of the Officer(s) and somehow appear on the scene of Fong Lee.

@icthruu4evr it has to stop we cant keep letting this go own because this is supposed to be a country of rights and freedom and we are just sitting by and letting police control us.there is a town in tn population around 50,000 people and over 75% poor and black 35 police officers have the 75% in total fear and under there complete control.its crazy that 35 cops can do that to thousands of people but it shows that people are in fear of police who violate there rights.just my opinion

@icthruu4evr tn cops are way worst then any cops in the country.my friend told me he got pulled over by a tn officer when my friend showed him his attorney card that stated .i do not talk to police, the officer said, your in tn you have no rights except what i give you,then he pulled him from the car knocked him down ,cuffed him and then put the tazer to him,his crime was rolling stop sign but the card set the cop off and my friend was beaten half to death.he is still a cop.just my opinion

MrsVaginaCheese He was running for his life. When the cops saw Fong riding his bike, they sped up in their vehicle and hit his bike from behind. Fong got off and took off for his life. It shows how bs and evil/cruel/racist those damm cops are
