This is so cool! I've always wanted to learn more about electric powered mining trucks. I thought it might be the case, but I'm still taken aback by the fact that it uses DC power. I suppose that a lot of the benefits of an AC machine are not very relevant for this fairly dynamic application. 2,600 V DC is an intimidating electrical line.
