Nice video! Never saw one of these in action before! Weird, when I was a kid, I had that long orange ramp section mixed with my orange Hot Wheels track! Now I know where it came from!
-
I wish someone would bring these out again!

Hours of fun? What are you smokin dude! I was one of those kids who got a Motorific set for X-mas in the 1960's and two everyready batteries gave you 10 minutes of fun if you were LUCKY! Batteries were not cheap in those days, so anybody who was having HOURS of fun was either shoplifting batteries or was an heir to the Getty's fortune!

@skaterpunk1171 , have you made the video yet? I am a freak for this old stuff, having just celebrated my 52 nd birthday.

I noticed the same thing. I had a 57 Chevy and for some reason this one looks bigger.
-
I had one of those. I also had the 57 chevy like yours except mine was maroon in color, also had a blue 62 Impala. The only thing I didnt like was the batteries were good for maybe 15 min. That wouldnt have been to bad if they had battery chargers back then.

@ftdRaw These range in price and condition is always a gauge to an expected sale price. I have seen these from $15-$150 dollars, there's one on the ebay that sold Item number: 290416463128.
However, with yours still sealed you could get over $100 or even more, you should list it on Cyber-Flea for $199 and see if anyone bites.
It's free to list your vintage toys and more on Cyber-Flea, try it!

Why does that Chevy look larger than the cars that came with my Torture Tracks that I got in 1965? It also seems faster. Wait! I'm getting a flash. I bet you're using alkaline batteries?? Enjoyed your video, friend.

Yes, It was a mistake, the car kept flying off the track..next time I'll use those cheap Eveready heavy duty type and spend less time putting the car back on track.

CyberDash - your problem was not with the batteries, the problem was with the lack of traction. Let's face it, the cars aren't that fast compared with controlled slot cars. Are the tires still soft? Perhaps you need to find new old stock replacement tires or sand these down so some new rubber is exposed. try that...
Nostalgiabuff - the trucks were the coolest things they made!

slotcargene - I believe you are correct, the tires were sliding. I'm in the process of making new tires (silicon) from an old set of Motorific tires. We'll see how they do next time! Thanks again
