@TeteFutuito It's called an opinion and I was having a civillised discussion with somebody about it,how is that 'ruining it for everybody else'? This song is piss poor weak. I own every McCartney album and this song is the nadir in my opinion. As for 'not getting it'-that just makes me laugh, if you think this is 'profound' you really need to listen to more music. mcCartney has done profound tho,of course-the lyrics of 'The End' spring to mind. This track isn't even in the same ballpark

@thenowuk this has has a very profound metaphysical message, which you obviously don't get, but don't try to ruin it for everybody else, ok ;)
-
What about Memory Almost Full, one of his best in my opinion.

@rocnrollurisback The members of the band at this time were Paul and Linda; Robbie McIntosh - guitar (late of the Pretenders); Hamish Stuart guitar, bass (Average White Band); Paul "Wix" Wickens (long time McCartney keyboardist), and Chris Whitten (a popular session drummer)/

@AppleCorp3 Yes,Flaming Pie,Electric arguments,McCartney and Ram are my favourites of his. Chaos and creation also has some good stuff on it. Can't agree about OTG tho! awfully weak songs on there from the days he was hanging around with those musically capable but uncreative and uninspiring sidemen-Hamish,Robbie etc
-
@thenowuk Oh come on now! FITD and OTG were solid albums. I do agree with you about Distractions - one of my favorites. Remove the production on Flowers and the sort of lack thereof on Ground and you've got some decent songs. Hope of Deliverance, Put it There, This One, That Day is Done are good album tracks. We may disagree there but such is taste. I 100% follow you when you talk about the Fireman album. That and Flaming Pie are two of his best albums ever.
