I remember when my grandpa died. I didn't think I would cry when we went to the viewing, but the second I saw him in the casket as soon as I walked in, I started bawling....its was terrible....sorry about your grandpa.

by all the funeral costs I mean everything leading up and post the funeral.
Asthetically I am not good with choosing things and that felt like a hollow gesture but I can take at least a little confidence that I tried to do the right thing about it.

I am sorry to hear about your Grandpa Amber.
I hope you will be alright.
The way your brother acted is completely wrong. I acted that way once regarding a funeral something that I am not proud of even now.
But at least I maned up and made certain to cover all I repeat ALL the funeral costs.
As for your brotherinlaw you did the right thing ignoring him. If I was your sister I would have slapped him silly. Or if I was you I would have talked with him later one on one.Enjoy Xmas Amber

i remember when i was 13 years old, i had only met my grandfather twice in my life and my dad and i went to go see him because he was in hospice care. i hadnt seen him since i was 4. he hugged me and cried, because it had been so long. the third day we were there out of the week, he fell and broke his leg and died during surgery. that was the first time i had seen my dad cry in my whole life.
i am so sorry that you brother acted like an ass (sorry, but thats how he came off to me) i am sorry :(
