  • Three words... Fullmetal alchemist!

  • @LuxorMedia The first reports of Alchemy actually come after the first attestations of Gnosticism. So it's safe to say that the two were likely contemporary. The two of them are deeply intertwined.

  • @DSamSebe1 Gnosricism has been rediscovered friend. The Nag Hamadi Library was rediscovered in Egypt almost 100 years ago, and we now have the texts of the Gnostics once again.

  • @InfernoLibra237 The Philosopher's Stone is a metaphor. It's the forging of the human soul into something pure and immortal. The stone represents the classical element spirit, from which all other elements are formed. As such, you cannot literally create it.

  • @InfinityDollar Actually, alchemy means "the science" in Arabic. It can also be translated "art of Egypt". As in, the ultimate science

  • @forwardpdx
