The caterpillar 660B is one impressive scraper. It's so sad that Caterpillar discontinued the 660B and the 666B in 1979 yet I'm sure a few 666B's still exist in running condition. The 666B was widely regarded as the best scraper ever made and could easily outwork the current crop of scrapers in use today. I would LOVE to see videos of the Cat 666B scraper in action. Hopefully, some 666B's will be restored to like-new condition and displayed in museums or reused in mines and other uses.
That is a 660, look at the scraper tires 37.5 x 51. 650's have the smaller 37.5 x 39 scraper tires,same size as the scraper drive tires. The 650 & 660 used the same tractor,but different "cans". BTW have not heard a 90 degree V-8 in a while

The 550hp 660B and the 950hp 666B was discontinued 30 years ago in 1978
