Beautiful...both the playing and the instrument. A well restored or looked after square grand really is a thing of beauty.

I am learning the mysteries of the PC. I had never heard of "uploading" and I still don't know how it is done. However, I can heard music from A to Z and can keep it where I want it.
Thank you for Danny Boy. It is a traditional folk song, that is never forgotten.

An amazing rendition of a beautiful tune on an incredible instrument. If only you could have played that with Eva Casidy singing! Thanks Jonathan.

Jonathan, the dislikes are all registered by one person. Don't pay any attention to them. You did great on this rendition of the song. I have just discovered you on YouTube. You're very talented and very good looking. You'll go far.

Ignore the dislikers, my friend - that was beautiful. And a very intreguing piano, too. Thanks for sharing :)

Lovely - thanks for sharing......

Square grands are pretty rare. I've never seen one being played! And I've also never heard one...it sounds really different from a modern piano in some way I can't describe. And not just the tone, either.
I love "Danny Boy". Nice song-choice.

Very nice arrangement Jonathan.....stay with it

Lovely. Don't see many square grands anymore, most techs won't touch them. The treble sounds like a harp.
P.S. You're cute, too.
Utterly ravishing. What's different from other pianos is the resonance that can only come from 150 year old wood and, most important, the fact that it is not in "digital" tune. I am no expert, but I know what I hear, and what I'm hearing is the true sound of a piano. As for Danny Boy.....ah lad, it's a fine, fine song. We played it for my son who died far too young, and you make me think of him, because you play it like you mean it. Thank you, Jonathan, and more, please!
