Simon Collins' cover of his father's (Phil Collins) song, "Keep It Dark". The song was originally released in 1981 by Genesis and featured on the album Abacab. In 2007, Simon recorded a cover of the song as a tribute to his father's band with keyboardist and co-producer Dave Kerzner (Kevin Gilbert's Thud, Giraffe). During production, he met Kevin Churko, who mixed and mastered the recording.
Simon Collins is a musician and the son of world-renowned musician and member of Genesis, Phil Collins. He was born in Hammersmith, England and moved to Vancouver, Canada at a young age. Since the age of 5, he has pursued music, and has released three albums since debuting in 1999: "All Of Who We Are (1999)," "Time For Truth (2005)," and "U-Catastrophe (2008)".
His latest album, U-Catastrophe, is also his US debut album. The album is available on iTunes. Its first single, "Unconditional", reached the Canadian Top 100 in November 2008.
