I know parties want to prove their ideas are better then the opposition, this is the basis of democracy but actively working to make your own country a worse place to live in is unbelievable, if a party tried that here they would be seen as treasonous and never get elected again.

Think about it, if the jobs number went low,

that means Obama succeeds,

and thats the last thing they want, is Obama to succeed.

if the country are in terrible shape these 4 years under Obama,

Matthews is at least better than just about every FOX anchor/pundit.

If America could return to a point where either party didn't fillibuster the balls out of the opposing side, and not have such a terrible economic and environmental crisis, Progressives might actually start some progress.
