  • ty for your help after i cleaned and adjusted it runs good now. just has a lil blow by i think the valve seal or sumthing may be bad

  • @trober603 It is common for these motor's to have a little blow by. It's the ring's. they dont last too long. If you do a compression check you will find they won't be equal

  • hey after u have done what u have showed in this vid with the clean process cud u tell me how to tune it up (adjusting the jets)? if so thank you

  • @trober603 The adjustment screw in of the front is for air mixture. Turn it all the way in and then turn it out 1 and 1/2 turn's. While the motor is running make 1/4 turn adjustments to the screw in or out if necessary.

  • i start mine i cleaned it all out watched the vid cleaned it all i start my tractor runs until the gas is burned in the carb nothing clogged i dont think so please get back to me on this

  • He meant to say "..with choke closed". Pistons going down creates a vaccum and atmospheric pressure pushes the fuel into the venturi. He meant to say "5/8th. inch wrench". He said "little intake". He meant to say "main jet". He forgot to check/set float level. In all honesty, that carb was corroded and should be replaced.

  • Must order a pizza now to repair carburetor MMMMMmmhhhh

  • Thanks for the How To Video - helped a bunch !
