Flash Components for Visual Composer 7.0 - TechEd Demo

Introducing "Flash Components", a new cool feature that enables you to embed your own custom built Flex 2 based component, or even better, an Xcelsius 2008 dashboard component into Visual Composer storyboard, and hence - to extend the predefined set of standard UI elements that are supplied in Visual Composer.

In this demo we show how you can upgrade your application with custom Gauge Controls, Map control and iPhone-like Coverflow selection control.

a Visual Composer application, in the case of Visual Composer 7.0, is compiled into a PAR file, that includes both the main application file and the Flash Components (and other things...)

the PAR is the basis of a SAP Enterprise Portal iView.

so that answer is that after deploying with Visual Composer - the application could be run without it - inside a Portal iView.

How do you run the application - after you are done - without the visual composer software ? Do you save the application as a file itself ?
