@Paularyates the fulttering of the eyes.... or closing of the eyes is also the myoclonic jerk part too

Hello,would you mind saying what his condition is called? My son does exactly the same thing (myoclonic jerks,eye movements and facial grimacing) and has been undergoing tests for the past year, but the neurologists have not worked out what is wrong with him.(My son closes his eyes too because they dart around and roll backwards).

Hi with Harry every time he puts something in his mouth ..he closes his eyes and this destabilises him. If I put my hand near his eyes the same thing happens or if he rubs his eyes : Harry has myoclonic astatic epilepsy or Doose Syndrome

Harry seemsto closeeyes when he eats and this seems to precipitate the jerks !
