I think you're onto something. That could really be great in a short film or something.

@backtublive How observant. Have you considered a job as Sherlock Holmes?
-
@Pyromarius you should really work on the bullet, but the moving thing was mind blowing, i thought that you had to have a whole set of cameras around you

dude see my matrix video

fail ... your hand/gun does not move ...

The only thing I really find actually crappy about this video and another one of yours that I've seen is the slide not coming back when the gun is fired... I just cant ignore that.... Im sorry. But it looks cool other than that.

TUTORIAL!

I took pictures of my bedroom, photoshopped them into a panorama picture. Then I made a bullet in 3ds max and rendered a clip with of the bullet rotating. Then I took a picture of me holding a gun from 3rd and 1st person persepctive and removed the background. I used After Effects to animate the "1st person" pic out of the screen, zoomed in on the panorama pic, moved it from right to left and the "3rd person" pic into the scene. I added the bullet and made a muzzle flash in FXhome Visionlab.

I used an effect called displacement map in my program Effectslab to create the heatwave from the gun. For the freeze effect I took a lot of images of my room and composed them together as a panorama shot. Then I took a picture of me holding a gun from two angles. Then I made a bullet in 3Ds Max and composed it all together.
