NO doubt, Holy Ghost by the Bar Kays is one of the funkiest songs ever made and even though it's already been said before it bears repeating... the breakdown before the drums and bass is the funkiest thing I've heard. I was in Memphis when this came out and got several chances to see them perform it live. Talk about smokin'! All I can say is Lord Have Mercy! HOLY....

I remember my moms use to play this cut, I had to have been about 4 or 5 yrs. old. her and her friends be playing spades and pinocle while this was blasting on her reel to reel... Yeah, that's old
