In this Leominster Cable Television PSA, a father tells the story about how things went horribly wrong at an illegal backyard fireworks show in Leominster in 2008. He describes how his preschool age son was injured, how he was charged by police, the anguish his family endured, and how his attitude changed on fireworks. In this moving public service announcement, he asks others to learn from his mistakes and to leave the fireworks to the professionals.
What is legal is not always right, and what is illegal is not always wrong. If you are not harming anyone else, I say go ahead.
You can't ban everything that has ever killed someone. Living has a 100% mortality rate- I guess we should ban that!

So unless you pay your state/city money to get a piece of paper to shoot off fireworks, it's illegal. Typical.

Common sense is the reason why his kid was in the hospital. Massachusetts linked this to their official website to inform people not to use fireworks. I'd like to know who wasted tax money finding this link and posting it.
