Azusa Street Revival - pt 2 of 2

The Azusa Street Revival was a Pentecostal revival meeting that took place in Los Angeles, California and was led by William J. Seymour, an African American preacher. It began with a meeting on April 14, 1906 at the African Methodist Episcopal Church and continued until roughly 1915.

The revival was characterized by speaking in tongues, dramatic worship services, and inter-racial mingling. The participants received criticism from secular media and Christian theologians for behaviors considered to be outrageous and unorthodox, especially at the time. Today, the revival is considered by historians to be the primary catalyst for the spread of Pentecostalism in the 20th century.

Now "Azusa" was not of God - at all; nor is Leon Isaac Kennedy, who speaks in tongues after he met me ( Paul / Niles in 1983 ); nor is T.B.N. ...I've observed ALLthe preachers since 1980 ( Isa. 56:10-12; vs. Heb. 13:1-2,7-9 )...so I hope that like me: You've come out from among them ( Rev. 18:4; Matt. 7:13-23; II Cor. 11:3-4,13-15; Ps. 5:5 )... II Peter 3:15-16, Amen!!!

Amen! I recieved the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire at age 16. I recieved Power of the Holy Ghost. I want to tell you who needs to know the difference. when the Spirit of the Lord touches you and you feel his presents, that is wonderful and remains with you shortly. Once you Recieve the HolyGost and Fire then This will cause you to go witness far to the end of the earth telling all what Jesus gave you, the Gifts of the Spirit. The Baptism of the HolyGhost will give you power over satan!

Bishop William J. Seymour was an anointed Man of God. He and the pioneers that helped bring this revival into being risked their lives to save souls, including Seymour, with the racism and ignorism back in those days. Also, Bishop Charles harrison Mason was a pioneer in the beginning of the COGIC. Without all the founders and organizors of this great event, we wouldn't be where we are today.

The infilling of the Holy Ghost can be received anywhere. If u are home and u call on the Lord from your heart he will come. First just repent of your sins. This is what Peter told them on the day of Pentecost. The reason why people don't receive it today is because they won't believe. They think it was only for those on Pentecost. Then why did i receive it and so many others? Jews, Gentiles and Samaritans all received it. Only believe!
