Line follower robot. Based on LM386. Herbie circuit extended by LM358 and LM324 to regulate motors with PWM (pulse width modulation). Setting potentiometers allow adjustment of overall speed and sensitivity of direction control by controlling the duty cycle of the PWM. No microcontroller / microprocessor used. 2 sensors with IR photodiodes supported by IR LEDs. Chassis made of plywood. Electronic parts from junk yard.

  • Hi there, i feel that this robot is really cool and will definitely get upon the ground level in robotics...

i do followed you to the roboternetz but i cant download the file...

can u provide me some help with the circuitry???

  • @shantanushiva1kar Maybe you can't download the file because you are not registered in Roboternetz. Do a registration there. It doesn't cost anything and you are free to view all and download.

  • Hey man... how did u generate pwm????

  • @rohitaudipudi Hi, i added a link to details in the description of the video. You will find also schematics as pdf files there.

  • can you post some more additional :) info. and no micro controller. i would like to see some schematic, maybe you have blog or something. thanks

  • As it is not allowed here to post links, do a search on "linienfolger ohne mp". You should get a link to "roboternetz" in Germany. There are all the details.

If you intend to clone it, i would be very interested whether you did so successfully. Have fun!
