  • For such a classic rock guy I would not have guessed you to buy a DSL? Sounds great don't get me wrong just see you as a classic plexi typa guy...

  • @redstripe41j You are so right about that but this setup only cost me about 300 dollars out of pocket so I couldnt pass it up. I had three Fender Hot Rod amps and traded one for the head straight up. The wife bought me one of the cabs for my birthday and the other cab I got for free. I couldn't even get a Plexi HEAD for the 350 dollars I have in this oufit! (but im working on it..ha)

And, while I do like this amp better than I thought I would it is not as good as a Plexi for sure.

  • @arbogastband

Great playing & great tone - are you using the gain from the amp? what speakers are you using in your cabs? 75W - V30s or Greenback G12M?

  • The cabs are the 'vintage' one's with the V 30's. I am using the amp gain but I do have a keely Compressor pedal on the guitar and a boss DD20 delay peday.

  • I think thats the sexiest PRS ive ever seen :O <3

  • beautifuuuul.. am enjoyed my listening.. great scalling... :-)

  • Ohhh pops you are great !!!!!!

  • I just Bought this Head after selling my Mesa Boogie QUAD Preamp, and 295 Power Amp. WOW. I have been either EQing the MESA wrong, or it just does not capture the spectrum of Color/sustain, and most importantly the FEEL like this MARSHALL 100 watt DSL Head does.I am awestruck by how well it feels when I play, and how the notes sing individually with no harmonic overtones that the Boogie produced. I was constantly muting the strings not played to stop that annoyance . I am so HAPPY, and in LOVE

  • That stack looks Killer!!

  • How much is it

  • thanx for the response - the (2) cabinets really add a lot to the tone - great video - one of the best DSL sound demo's that I have heard

  • damn thats a sweet deal.nice playing too..you could rock out the neighborhood with that.5*****
