The Somali pirates claim pretty much all 'foreign' fishing activity anywhere near their coast is 'illegal,' despite legitimate contracts with the Somali government and the existence of a thing called 'international waters.'
But really 'illegal overfishing' is a bullshit red herring. The country is in a shambles because political Islam is tearing the country and its economy apart. These pirates kill, kidnap, extort, rape, and steal simply because THEY CAN.
