  • This breaks one's heart.

Yes, it is a heart-breaker. The destruction is mind-boggling, and cannot be fully conveyed with images. I have visited there several times in the past, and often thought what a lovely place it would be to live. Now I am glad I live where I am now. Some people live elsewhere as their primary residence, and have no idea what has happened, aside from what they can see in YouTube videos. Many homes are off their foundations, and the trailer park in Prattsville is completely gone.

  • I was so shocked to see what happened here! And a little over a week after this happened We also flooded in Binghamton NY!!

  • I'm so sad about this. Prattsville was such a beautiful town - I had a home there many years ago. It was up on Etta Post Road - and it was so relaxing to come up from the city for some perfect R&R. I wonder how that area is up there - if the house is still standing? It was walking distance to the Hideway Hotel. The driveway came in off of Alby Way, down through an arch of trees. I'm so sorry for all the folks who lost so much.

  • If you had not already gotten this info. Saw Bob this past weekend, he's okay. Do not know Stella, but I do know Linda Cross she fine as well.

  • @AMERICANBIKERX Look no farther than Agenda 21, the plan to reduce world population to 500,000 humans, the slow descent to that goal by starving out America, destroying the middle class and reducing our great country to a banana republic. I used to think it was stupidity, but there is too much of it and it is too well organized not to be the work of world bankers.

  • @Invent42 Oh thanks for the warning but my parents made it through. My dad told me that they were stopping people becuase of that. The gaurd let them in once they told them where their house was. Actually they just came back today after a couple of days there.

  • @AMERICANBIKERX

Your correct....and the Tea Party is changing the pre-existing system...

  • apparently a friend that use to work with me has family there and they're saying the national gaurd are just standing there with their thumbs up there asses.

  • @johnnybagofdonets I have been saying for many (way Before Obama) years! When every American Man Women and Child has a warm Bed to Sleep in and food in their stomach then we start to worry about the rest of the world ! Why are American tax Dollars going to feed our enemies when American Veterans are Starving and living on the Streets ! People always want to point fingers and say its this person or that persons fault When it is the fault of the System!

  • It’s real sad that American’s are suffering and Obama Administration is sending Billions to Pakistan & Israel while US National Guardsmen is some areas are obstructionists of American good-willed humanitarian relief efforts. Soon the leftist media spin-doctors may blame lack of relief on the Tea Party, because progressives can’t let a crisis go to waste; charity starts at home.

  • @NYCGamefreak

tell your folks not to bother, the national guard is turning anyone away who is'nt a primary resident.
