@rc7t322 Antonio Rebollo's arrow did not light the natural gas rising from the cauldron. It was done via remote control. Rebollo deliberately overshot the arrow for the safety of the spectators. It kind of hurts when you know the truth. But still wonderfully executed.

True, the arrow did not have to land on the cauldron (it would have been very difficult considering the angle) but, still, SO MANY things could have gone wrong. What if the arrow went BELOW the cauldron? It took real balls to do this, congrats to the Spaniards.

@CraigBouchard You see the three bars/supports holding up the cauldron? Between the first and second (going from left to right) the arrow flies behind them. The flame that's on the right side is just some amber speck. There might be disagreements about whether it set off the natural gas or if the technician set it off but it definitely did not land in the cauldron
