crystal-clear video and audio! Capture audio from microphone or from on-screen. Seems better than Xvidcap (which has audio problems) and better than Desktop Recorder - RecordMyDesktop (which has long processing time and video jaggies). Can capture entire screen or any size window (using 'xwininfo' in terminal). Can record at any frame capture speed from 1 frame per second up to 60. Can record using ANY video codec or ANY audio codec. Can trim either or both ends from recording. Can concatenate (add together) several video segments into a single file. Does not require any processing time. Top recommendation for the "Proper Screencasting in Linux" tutorial!
@razaccour Yes. FFMPEG records video and audio simultaneously. Audio capture can be set to record either microphone or the audio of a video being played. The video capture can be set to include the entire screen or any portion of it. You can record video at any speed from 1 to 60 frames per second. You record in any and all video and audio codecs.
