This is my DIY Helix 2.4Ghz WLAN Antenna, it has a range of about 2 km & unlike most helix's this has a reflector boom for maximum performance

  • you could, but you will run out out of power (as only around 20mw)

  • thanks. it took a wile to get the coil right. but now ive got it sorted it really is very impressive, better than i thought it would be. 2 km range of about 19 dbi
