Anyone know if this same particle physicist has a video explaining how it was discovered? Or rather, how can we measure it is there.

Higgs boson doesn't give mass to everything, it's the higgs field that does that job. Higgs Boson is merely a fluctuation in the Higgs field. Higgs Boson is derived from the Higgs field and is a massive particle that's why it decays so quickly before it can be observed and studied.

Think of gravity and the higgs field as having a kind of symbiotic relationship. Both are explained as a random accident by atheists like Steven Hawking. On the subject of gravity, Hawking says, "some universes may have none, while in ours we got lucky." We don't know why they exist or how they were created. Yet each of these would be worthless without the other. That's intelligent design, and an example of why Christians love science.

You're thinking about the Higgs field like it's friction. That's a case of pushing the analogy too far.

If the Higgs field slows particles down, why don't they lose momentum traveling through it? How can a field interact with particles without exchanging any momentum with the particles?

Nature self has not any product of imagination like ..electron ,boson ,quark, photon etc .

The trick films (even the best ones) cannot create objects..because these are NOT EXISTING IN NATURE Nature is deterministic and has nothing to do with probability distributions. Is valid the uncertainity principle (even in my new physics) but NOT in the sense of the OLD (todays) edition..!! The idea of "minimal" in energy(or flow..) or "minimal" in mass(or gestalt..) is .... far away from nature self..!!!
