This song, and particularly this version of the song is, in my personal opinion, the greatest piece of music ever recorded. I have owned literally thousands of albums of various genres and not one of them has summoned feelings of mirth and sublime satisfaction like this. I listen to heavy metal, rock, rap, hip hop, jazz and overlaps of these genres for years. This song is a solid #1 in my books, Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen, The Watchtower - Hendrix, and Floyd's Comfortably Numb follow well after.

The significance of the song, as with any song I suppose, is the emotion it conjures in the listener as opposed to how technically adept it is made. I'm sure I can easily list a dozen songs that are technically more complicated to create that this one...but I first heard this song during a very special and personal episode of my life. It touched my soul, blueprinted my emotions, and whisked me through one of the happiest and most cherished moments of my life. That's what I call MUSIC!

That was very eloquently written but I really struggle to see how someone can say such things about this particular track. It's a good track, I like it but it isn't special in any way, not to me at least. Just a difference in taste I suppose.
