Russell and his new Softailproject for 2009 Exile Cycles announce the introduction of a complete line of bolt-on parts for stock Harley Softails. Designed by Russell Mitchell, these components will allow you to transform your ride in to a custom with all the toughness and simplicity of an Exile, whilst maintaining all the function and reliability of the stock Harley. All the Exile-style but with HD title, insurance, warranty and financing! Pictured here is a 07 Softail Standard transformed into a beautiful Bar-hopper with 100% bolt-on parts (no cutting, no welding)! Among the new range are horn and coil relocation kits, various knurled covers, forward control adapter plates, bolt-on kickstand kit, hidden switchgear and open belt primary drives. Add this to existing Exile offerings such as wheels, brakes, forwards, bars, pipes and front ends and you have the ingredients for one sweet ride. For more information visit Exile Cycles.

  • Exile Cycles is a scam. They take semi custom parts and sell them for double to triple what it cost to "make them". By that I really mean they buy parts from a dealer that they get cheap for buying in bulk then do a single color paint job and stamp exile on the part. They'll make you pay 30 grand for a part kit that they could sell for 8 and still make tons of profit. I've been making custom bikes since I was 16 so I know it's pricey to fabricate your own parts but that's just ridiculous.

  • I love this look. I would be worried about burning my knuckle on the belt when I shifted but still really awesome.

  • Harley davidson Iron Eagle 883 Sportster equipped with springer front end ,and the same pipes as youtuber,(Harley Davidson 48 with exotic choppers pipes)Has on his bike, sound ? Perffect!, Cafe handle bars,And 6 inch head lamp with visor, and cat eye,(Solid wheels Front and Rear, Flat blacked , no shine. with brass capped rivets on the bead lock.)Now that you Dork fish is how to build a custom bike.

  • or the 1999 springer frount end mounted on a 883 sportster?

Come on guys! if your building a Hot bike?

Dont put ape hangers on a sadlebag speshal!

  • 887 Iron head,

    with springer front end,

Build a real bike, I havent seen any one,

take the 887 Iron head, and use it to build

a Hill climber clone, or look a like. Almost like a bored tracker,

    only Burly.

  • @milwaukeegregg kiss my limey bell

  • russel got a funny accent sounds more american now

  • @49cobra No , you un-bolt it - it is a false post ,ie not a part of the frame. Listen to what he says and engage your mind to C-O-M-P-R-E-H-E-N-D what he says .

  • Reading the comments below, asking where are the levers etc and how do you remove the seat post .... listen to what he says... the brakes are linked, the gearchange and clutch are different ! Some people should listen with their mind, and not just their ears before asking stupid questions ... nice bikes Russell - nice enough for those who cannot build their own.

  • yes please
