Have you ever thaken them to the beach. I remember how my dingo reacted when they first encountered waves coming in. Initially they ran away, then slowly came down again and tried to attack the inflow. Funny to watch.

We live in the PNW and surrounded by water but neither were inclined to get too close. Not sure why. We walked them along the beach, took them to the shore and even found a few smaller creeks but they would rather run through the woods then have anything to so aquatic!

You own a NGSD? Do you have a reputable breeder that you can recommend? I have searched high and low for one.

Yes, I have 2 of them. Currently, there are no breeders other than the New Guinea Singing Dog Conservation Society.
I would suggest you join the following yahoo group (New_Guinea_Singing_Dog; there are TWO groups with the same name) yet the one I posted above currently has 18 NGSDs up for adoption. The other group is called the New Guinea Singing Dog Discussion Group and belongs to the Society.
