A a front group for Norm Coleman now has attack ads up across the state, claiming that Al Franken is against protecting a secret ballot for forming unions. Truth of the matter is that this ad promoting Norm is actually a collection of business groups looking to get rid of the bill that protects the secret ballot! Both the Star Tribune and WCCO's Reality Check called him out on the absurdity of the ad, yet Norm still claims it to be true.

  • If the rules are not fair thay can be fixed without taking away my right to a secret ballot, and expossing me to possible intimidation and violence from the unions or the employer. This bill sucks.

  • How's the country doing under your savior? 3years and 9 months to go.

  • What would you call it when a company's tassel-shoed, union-busting laywers know what an employees opinion is and fire half the employees to rig a union election? Economic Royalism 101.

  • aside from the balloting provisions... the binding arbitration part of this bill is horrific... It's communism, socialist dictators around the world would be proud.

  • liberalsmasher: Glad you lost the election, you worthless piece of shit. Sucker Republican hick.

  • Coleman = scumbag

    liberalsmasher = typical Republican sucker

  • Coleman protects workers from the opportunity to earn a living wage and have health insurance. Thanks Coleman!

  • Is this supposed to be detrimental to Coleman? This is a brillant explanation of why Union open balloting should be opposed. Union thugs knowing who & how you voted is communism 101.

  • He is such a creep, but so ironic: it's Coleman that's catering to the special interests and being bankrolled by three "Orwellian"-named organizations that are saying the same lie.
